As part of the “Make a WISH to the Sovereign Order of Malta” Project, sometimes it is very delicate to assess the requests received at the Embassy. In the last example, the choice and the decision to intervene were rapid because of the difficult medical case that could no longer be postponed.
The assembly has elected the members of the government for the next five years.
Chaired by Grand Master Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto, the Chapter General of the Sovereign Order of Malta was held in the Magistral Villa in Rome on 1 and 2 May.

13th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean was held in Belgrade on February 21 and 22, with perfect hospitality of the Serbian Parliament.
During the works, inaugurated by the Serbian Foreign Minister H.E. Ivica Dacic, Ambassador Alberto di Luca ( permanent observer at PAM) held a speech during the debate on immigration and human rights. This is the synthesis of his speech:

Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Serbia Alberto di Luca had a meeting with the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zoran Vujic.
During the cordial meeting, the excellent state of relations between Serbia and Sovereign Order of Malta has been mutually underlined, also indicated by the numerous humanitarian and social activities promoted by the Embassy in Belgrade.

This year as well, the Festivity of St. John the Baptist, Patron of the Order of Malta, was celebrated in a context of humanitarian and cultural diplomacy. It was organized twelve days prior to the date of Festivity, June 24, so that the traditional opera-event of the Order of Malta could fit the rich calendar of the National Theater in Belgrade. It was defined as the “cultural event of the year in Serbia” by the local press.
